The Impact of AGEs in Mental Disorders
Since April 2015, I have been working as a reader (PI) in the schizophrenia research project at the institute. I received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Biological Science and Technology, Faculty of Industrial Science and Technology, Tokyo University of Science. I received the Ph.D. degree in engineering from Tokyo University of Science in 2002. I worked in the laboratory of Professor Paul J. Thornalley in Warwick University for 2 years from 2012. Currently, I am interested in mechanisms of glycation and oxidative stress associated with phenotypes of psychiatric disorders during life stage.
